Delivery & fulfilment policy
Delivered securely,
tracked throughout.
GovFin (Pty) Ltd provides digital professional services. This policy explains how and when those services and their reports are delivered.
Last updated: 18 July 2026
How delivery happens
Services and outcomes are delivered electronically through the secure GovFin portal or another expressly authorised channel. Reports are not normally sent as unprotected email attachments. No physical goods are delivered through this website.
When processing begins
Processing begins after GovFin accepts the order, receives any required payment, and receives complete, lawful and usable information, documents and consent. Some services may require physical fingerprint capture, which is arranged separately.
Turnaround times
Turnaround depends on the check and the source, and the tier you select (Standard, Priority or Urgent). Estimated turnaround is stated in the applicable quotation or service scope and is indicative, not guaranteed.
Requests for additional information
If further information or clearer documents are required, processing pauses until they are provided. This may extend the estimated completion time.
External institutions and sources
Response times from institutions, registries and other sources are outside GovFin's control and can affect completion. Failed source access or incomplete information may delay fulfilment.
Expiry and supersession
A report reflects information available at the time of verification. Reports may carry a validity period, may be superseded by a newer report, or may be revoked; report status can be confirmed through report authentication.
Notifications
You receive notifications through your account and registered contact details when a result is available or when action is required. GovFin communicates material delays using your registered contact details.
